Deal Or No Deal
What a day. Let's recount:
NFL owners and player hash out a deal, extending their CBA for six years.
Team Canada beats Team USA in the Miracle on Dirt.
Real Madrid and Liverpool are ousted from the Champion's Cup.
The Edmonton Oilers finally get a decent goalie, trading for
Former Hart Trophy winner and hair model Jose Theodore is traded from the Montreal Canadians to the Colorado Avalanche.
The Los Angeles Kings pick up the poor man's Mike Bossy, Mark Parrish, from the Islanders.
Vikings quarterback Daunte Culpepper asks to be traded or let go.
This all makes yesterday's top story seem insignificant, although David Wells did call out Bonds* today.
There are going to be a lot of fanatics tossing in their beds tonight, either out of absolute joy or utter depression.
