Damn. Anyone know why my lovely color additions fail to show up in Firefox? I used a red background colour and a white font, and now you can't see the text at the top of the tables.

Sigh. I made it all black, so it is readable in Firefox. How boring. Anyone who can tell me how to fix that for future projects should feel free to tell me so.

Now, back to football. I just realized that I'm going to miss the Thursday and Sunday night games this week because of stupid concerts I'm going to. GAH!

So, um, you two mostly agree. But sometimes you don't. Why?

Why, thank-you for asking, and well, here is why:

1) Nate loves the Chiefs. As such, he has been blinded to the fact that Herm Edwards is coachng them, and that Denver is actually a better team than they were a year ago.

2) I love the Eagles, and am therefore blind to the fact that they still have a lot of questions marks.

3) The NFC East is the hardest division in football. Actually, it's the hardest division in sports, ahead of the AL East in baseball and the Northwest division in hockey. It's really just a crapshoot. Any of the four teams could be playoff bound. I picked the Cowboys to come in last because Terrell Owens is a team-wrecker, and because I hate the Cowboys. The Giants have the 2nd toughest schedule this year (the Bengals are the other team), and could be in for the same type of season the Chargers had last year. And yes, I stole all that from John Clayton.

4) I have no idea how Nate could be foolish enough to pick the Vikings for 2nd in the Norris division. You'll have to ask him.

5) After the Panthers, the NFC South could go any way.

It is interesting that our picks were so similar in the AFC, but more divergent in the NFC. I think it's because there is such disparity in the AFC between good to great teams, and God-awful teams. If you take out the NFC West, which sucks ass, the NFC is pretty competitive.

My other explanation is that Nathan is mildy retarded
