Seriously...

You have the bases loaded, zero outs, and the best you can do is two pop-ups to the infield and a check-swing strikeout to end the inning? In a 4-3 ballgame? How does Terry Francona not manufacture a run in a scenario like that? Couldn't you have at least brought in Youkilis? The guys nickname is the "Greek God of Walks." His OBP for the season was .400. Furthermore, how is it that Curt Schilling, the best big game pitcher maybe in the history of the sport, doesn't get the start? He had four days rest. When Francona gets fired, and boy he better get fired, I am going to apply for the job.

There are going to be a lot of angry questions in Boston tonight about the on-field management of this team, the lack of heart displayed by the players, and the willingness of the ownership group to "go the extra distance" for the fans.

Wow. Apparently there is a Red Sox fan club known as the "Daughters of Kevin Youkilis." A great counter to the SOSH. Awesome. This eases my broken heart ever so slightly.
