SportsMatters Question Of The Day

Without looking on the internet or some bizarre NFL trivia book, name the only two players to ever get a perfect score (8.0) from scouts at the NFL combine.

Bonus points if you can name the only two peope to ever get a perfect score on the Wonderlic exam at the combine. Super duper bonus points (i.e. a date with Murphy at an Esks/Roughriders game in mid-November) if you can even tell me what the Wonderlic exam is, and where the name comes from.

I will put the answers up tomorrow. No cheating!

Answers:

Perfect Combine Scores: O.J. Simpson, Bo Jackson

Perfect Wonderlic Scores: Pat McInally, Ryan Fitzgerald

Wonderlic Exam: Essentially the IQ test, but with only 50 questions. Players have 12 minutes to complete it. Fitzgerald apparently did so in 9 minutes. It is merely named after the company that administers it. Here is a sample.

That's hilarious

"The WPT enables you to match people with positions that suit their learning speed and aptitude"

I wonder how many American high school kids qualify for positions in the NHL.

Speaking of positions, you can keep you Murphy and football game. I would like Avi Schaumberg's phone# though. Man, can that guy write.

p.s. That's a pretty nice picture of Gretz there Pops;)

Hope all you f#@$ers had a good Christmas.

Ok, here's my "Question of the Day". Is it "Sports Matter" or "Sports Matters". Your URL says one thing, but your hearts say another. Help a brotha out.

Sincerely,

Shirtless and Confused

While we are on the subject, did you guys design your page yourselves? I see that you use Blogger. How did you change everything? Are one of you a total HTML nerd? Cmon, be honest.

Yes, my co-writer/co-founder, Mike D., is all about the CSS and HTML's and what-not. We use blogger to host, but he designed/wrote the code for the site as you see it. I have no idea about any of that stuff. I just write dick jokes and Bears propoganda and send him IM's that say things like, "hey, those dildo's made of ice that porn stars sometimes use, do they call them 'chilldos', or did I just make that up?"
