Shawne Merriman Suspended
Chargers linebacker Shawne Merriman has been suspended for steroid use. Next to Ricky Williams, Merriman has to be the biggest name that I can think of to get busted for steroids. That is, if people have actually heard of him, which they should have given that he had 10 sacks as a rookie last year and had posted 5.5 through the first seven games of this season.
It's been a good weekend for baseball, what with the world series starting, a new labor deal around the corner, and an athlete from another sport making headlines for steroids for a change.

It boggles the mind how dumb Merriman is. Why take the chance on getting caught? He was quickly gaining a "Ray Lewis" type name that would keep him in the money for a while. --oh I gues I answered my own question.
Where is Avi to rationalize his cheating?
