Well, what happened to the New York Football Giants? And both of you dumped the Steelers that quickly? I vaulted a team from off the chart into first place. The Broncos demolished the Patriots on Sunday (don't let the score fool you), and have also beaten the Chargers, Chiefs and the Jaguars. That is an impressive record. Compare that to the Colts, who have beaten Baltimore, Cleveland, Tennesse, San Francisco, and the East St. Louis. The Colts were getting their asses handed to them last night until Bulger went down. I am very interested to see how they do in the second half, when they have to play the Bengals, Patriots, Chargers, Steelers and Cougars. We will see how great their defence is then.
BTW, does anyone else agree that Orlando Pace man-handled Dwight Freeney last night?

The Giants and Steelers looked like crap, which is why I dropped them. The Jags and Cowboys have wins over quality teams, which vaults them onto my list. I still think the Colts deserve to be #1. They're undefeated for one, and regardless of what happened to Bulger, they still have won every game convincingly.

The Broncos vault onto my list thanks to the emergence of Tatum Bell (which anyone who had him in Madden 2005 knew was just a matter of time) and Jake "Jim Plunkett" Plummer. They convinced me on Sunday, but I still think they're only the 3rd best team.

The Steelers didn't play Roethlisberger or Hines Ward, and they still almost won that game. Once the two of them are back, how do they not make it on your list?

I can't believe Kimmis dropped them off his list.

You will also note that not one NFC team is on my list.

They still lost, I'm ranking teams based on performance to date, not projected performance over the last half of the season.

I am too, and the Steelers should still be on your list. The question is, at Week 6, which are the 5 (+1) teams in football.I don't see how the Steelers drop off that list because of an almost-win without their two best players.

They fall off because teams like Jax, Denver, and Dallas stepped up, and gave me a reason to think they were better than I had previously thought. Combine that with a Steelers loss, regardless of the circumstances, and they drop.

Boooo. Now I know why you have won one game in fantasy football this year. Zing! And where hell is Kimmis? How can we talk smack without Me Hate Me around?

I can't believe you have the f&%$ Cowboys on your list. I thought I knew you, man. The Cowboys? Doesn't that make your 49er heart wail in rage?

It does. Though it pains me to admit it, the Cowboys are having a pretty good year between the 4-2 start and Jerry Jones' top-notch Verizon Wireless ad. I take solace in the fact that at some point in the next 8 weeks Drew Bledsoe will go back to being Drew Bledsoe and mediocrity will catch up with them. But for now, they look damn good. God I hate them.

I don't know where Kimmis is either. KEVIN, WHY WON'T YOU TALK TO ME!!!!?????

And how the hell hasn't Terry Glenn hurt himself yet? I mean, we are talking about Terry Glenn here.
